To get to CYC at Shilshole from Interstate 5, take exit 172 west onto 85th street. Go west right to the end of 85th, turn right on 32nd Ave NW to Golden Gardens Drive, then go down the hill, under the rail road and continue south on Seaview Ave 1 block to the Shilshole Marina. The dinghy floats are at the north end of the marina. There is a parking lot for cars with trailers ($3 per day the last time we checked) and there is also on street parking. You launch down a wide public ramp just north of a small coffee shop. Overnight boat storage is usually available at the marina, so take a rigging board.

The CYC clubhouse is on a float about 200 m to the south of the launching ramp. They have washrooms and showers and a bar that is open after sailing. The first start for regattas is usually at around 10:30 with registration an hour earlier. It takes a minimum of 2.5 hours driving time from Vancouver BC, plus however long it takes to cross the border.
